Each week we are very lucky to have a 'Buddy Reading' session with the year 4 children. They come over to our class on a Wednesday afternoon to listen to the Reception children read their reading books & then swop over, the year 4s read a story to the Reception children. This is also a fantastic PSED lesson for both age groups & the Reception children know that if they are feeling lonely, sad or have any problems at play times, they can share these with their Buddies.
