We finally held World Book Day a week late as the original date was snowed off. All the children came dressed as their favourite characters and we stopped what we were doing every hour, on the hour to read a story to celebrate. The day ended with a whole school assembly, including preschool, when we read one final story – The Mousehole Cat.
